Drying beaker with screw on lid and round foam separator together with 4 separately packaged silica drying capsules for dehumidifying hearing aids and earmolds, which will reduce the chance of faults/failure due to moisture.

The drying capsules are a translucent plastic capsule of 30mm in diameter and 12mm in height, which contains crystals of orange silica gel, and closed by a cardboard seal.

These capsules should not be opened until ready for use. Once they are taken out of their sealed packaging, they are activated and will only have a short life. Remember to put the lid back onto the cup after each use. Change the capsule when it becomes almost white. One capsule should normally last about 1 month.

After use, the capsule should be kept in the sealed drying beaker to prolong their life. The capsule can be reused until the golden-yellow indicator has changed to a white colour

Daily use is recommended, usually overnight when you are not using the hearing aids! Regular dehumidification increases the life of hearing aids and preserves their effectiveness.

The drying capsule meets the requirements of Class I Medical Devices, according to the Regulation 2017/745/EU related to Medical Devices, while respecting environmental and safety requirements for health.

Instructions

• Place the capsule, face upwards, under the foam in the drying cup with screw on lid
• The porous face of the drying capsule is the cardboard printed side
• Put the hearing aid on the foam with the battery compartment open
• Put the lid on the cup and leave overnight for the capsule to absorb moisture from the hearing aid and earmould/tubing
