Description
The ReSound Multi Mic has been discontinued by GN ReSound. The Cochlear Mini Microphone 2+ (DCBA770845) is an identical product so can be used as an alternative. The Multi Microphone+ (3G23093300) is now available but please note that it is only compatible with Danalogic Extend, ReSound Vivia, ReSound Savi, ReSound Enzo IA and ReSound Nexia later generation hearing aids.
The ReSound Multi Mic is a superb quality portable device that streams speech and audio directly to your ReSound hearing aids. It is compatible with all ReSound wireless hearing aids (if unsure, please check with your audiologist).
The ReSound Multi Mic offers the same excellent benefits as the ReSound Micro Mic with extra features:
- Table microphone function, picking up speech from people speaking around a table.
- Pickup of Induction Loop signals to listen in Bank, Shop, Church etc.
- Pickup of FM Radio Aid signals (3 pin FM Radio Aid receiver required)
- Mini-jack input, for connecting external audio sources, MP3 players etc
- This plug-and-play device is effortless to use, and reliably improves signal-to-noise ratio and speech understanding in difficult listening situations where distance, background noise or poor acoustics is an issue. It transmits the voice of a speaker or speakers directly into your hearing instruments without the need for any extra devices, such as cables, cords or necklaces.
When placed horizontally on a table the ReSound Multi Mic automatically switches into an optimized table mode to enable pickup of the voices of multiple speakers.
An additional real-life benefit is that, since the listener is not required to look directly at the speaker(s) during a conversation, he or she is free to perform dual attention tasks that normal hearing people take for granted.
In essence the ReSound Multi Mic extends the hearing range well beyond the reach of any hearing instrument in a variety of situations, such as when having conversations:
- at home, at school or at work
- in the car
- while dining out
- in social situations

GN ReSound Multi Microphone ( 3G19080400 )

I've used this for about a year…. I honestly don't know what I did without it. I originally bought it to help with watching poetry performances - and it's ace for that but there's a bit of interactivity involved (asking poets to clip it yo their clothing), but it words brilliantly. But - here's the thing. I've used it for work by attaching it with the 3.5 inlet to my laptop and then using the be-more app with my hearing aids and putting the mic on the music setting and it transforms into headphones, streaming directly to heating aids. It's meant that I can keep working in a very busy office in customer support. It's literally worth its weight…. I cannot recommend this little thing enough. It's ace too for things like restaurant / pub / gatherings…. I love it!
